Alexandria Brodie
Alex is thrilled to serve with Organically Pretty, bringing a passion for environmental stewardship and community development to the organization’s mission. Originally from a small rural town in Franklin County, North Carolina, Alex grew up on a farm alongside five siblings, an experience that deeply shaped her appreciation for community, sustainability, and service.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education with a minor in Agricultural Sciences and Professional Services from North Carolina A&T State University. Over the years, Alex has gained valuable experience across agriculture, environmental programming, education, community engagement, and project management. Her work has included developing and implementing environmental programs, leading company-wide sustainability initiatives, and researching community support efforts.
Outside of her professional work, Alex enjoys crafting, hiking, and reading. Whether she’s working toward her goal of hiking all North Carolina State Parks, embarking on road trips, or relaxing with a good book, she values balance, curiosity, and continuous growth– qualities she brings into her work with Organically Pretty.
Christian Wilkerson, MSW, LCSW-A
Through firsthand experience addressing systemic barriers related to poverty, access to education, health, and community support, Christian brings both professional insight and lived understanding to the spaces she serves. She centers dignity, cultural humility, and empowerment in her practice, ensuring that individuals—particularly girls and young women—are seen, heard, and supported in ways that honor their identities and lived experiences.
Christian is especially passionate about mentorship, prevention-focused initiatives, and creating safe, affirming environments where young people can build confidence, develop life skills, and envision futures rooted in purpose rather than survival. Her work reflects a deep commitment to community-led solutions, intergenerational healing, and uplifting the voices of those historically overlooked.
Christian Wilkerson is a Durham, North Carolina native and a master’s-level social worker with extensive hands-on experience supporting marginalized and underserved communities. Her work is rooted in advocacy, equity, and holistic well-being, with a strong focus on connecting individuals and families to critical resources that promote stability, growth, and long-term success. girls and young women—are seen, heard, and supported in ways that honor their identities and lived experiences.
Dy’Neshia Hicks, BSN, RN
Dy’Neshia Hicks, RN, is an experienced operating room nurse with nearly three years of clinical practice. She earned her first bachelor’s degree from North Carolina A&T State University and later completed her nursing education at Duke University. During her education, she participated in a global clinical immersion in Guatemala, where she gained hands-on experience in maternal health.
Currently working as a travel nurse, Dy’Neshia enjoys expanding her skills while gaining experience in diverse healthcare settings. She is passionate about continuous learning, personal growth, and delivering high-quality patient care. Outside of nursing, she loves to travel and explore new experiences.
